MODERN EDITIONS
In the 50's, after Lillet's club foundation, the National Tournaments were held with some figures of that time, many of them great players of Spain.
From 1960 until early seventies, the activity gradually declined, although it is assumed it was not completely dropped. In 1972 José Mª Gutiérrez Dopino, who had lived in the village and emigrated to Germany, gave it a new impetus.
In early 1990's, after 33 years of interval, the renowned Open Chess Tournaments began. Here we will put as much information as possible (participants, classifications, results, images and parallel activities).
We have grouped different editions every 10 years. The podium of each edition has been placed and clicking on the image of the podium (three best players) you get the information of every edition.
